This site is a tribute to June Fawkes, who passed away on 27th December 2018 aged 70 years. She is a beloved wife of Gavin, a dearly loved mam of Rachel and Paul, devoted sister of Brenda and a much loved nana of Joshua. She will be deeply missed will always be remembered.

Thoughts
June, my cherished friend. The first time I set eyes on you across the staff room at Newcastle College over 25 years ago I thought you were the prettiest women I had ever seen. A real English rose. Since then we have enjoyed the most wonderful friendship. To meet June was almost instantly to love her.

June was a wonderful, funny and intelligent lady. She was always a very positive person. I will miss her friendship and her company. May she now rest in peace.
